October 1st Last Day At the Royal Sands

Our Last Day at the Royal Sands was a very relaxing one. We decided to swim and play right at the resort. Tate and I built a sand castle while Mike and Doug went sailing. Mike totally learned how to sail. He loved it. And Tate is wonderful at creating castles. Oh, he is one fun boy.

Taylee absolutely loves the water and never gets tired of it. I was freezing to death but she wanted to stay in the water.

One of Taylee's hundred jumps she did into the pool. Tate and Taylee became the celebrities of the resort. Everyone wanted their picture and everyone knew who we were.

Our last night, we ate at the pool side bar b-cue. Mike bought a sea shell you can blow into. Tate can blow that thing so good it is amazing.
That night on the beach, we got to let little baby turtles go into the sea. They just hatched that day and they let the guests at the motel let them go find their place in the ocean. We all stood behind a line and watched our turtle crawl out to sea. Tate's turtles usually won. He always had speedy little turtles. Taylee would put her turtles on her should and pat them like she was burping a baby. They were the cutest little animals. We each got to let 3 go. Mike and Tate got 4. Like Debbie said, you get really attached to those turtles and hope they make it on their own.
Tate got to paint a porcelain dolphin by the pool. The locals then added a little of their own spice and glazed it for him. It is absolutely beautiful. I would have payed money for it. Tate's pretty amazing at only age 6.
We also went on a treasure hunt the last day, and Tate and Taylee broke a pinata.
We also were lucky enough to hold these beautiful birds.

They showed Taylee how to hold it like a baby and she was all over that. That comes so naturally for her. She did great!
Tate's a natural animal tamer.
